Wall developments and soda bread

The garden is taking shape, albeit slowly….. Finally our retaining gabion wall is going up, our mounds are nearing completion and the cob oven has been tried and tested – and works!

The wall utilises material found on site and is a useful way of getting rid of rubbish. So far, we haven’t had to take anything off site other than litter.

The cob oven was built by corporate volunteers. This saturday Daniela made delicious soda bread so we feasted on site with home made ja. Pizzas are on the agenda, grow your own topping.
