Harvested on Sunday. 💚

We counted 60 people at our Little Gardeners session today! * The session is run by volunteers and is on come rain or shine, which means we get to see how the garden changes across the year. It’s a delight in the sunshine and it’s so nice to see the children explore. Many of the families who come each week don’t have access to a garden or green space at home - making it the perfect place to connect with nature.

The application for the role of Lead Food Grower and the traineeship ends on Friday. If you - or anyone you know - want to apply, the details are on the blog (link in bio).

We have another swarm! 🐝 * * This swarm was found on Sunday on a hazel tree by one of our ponds. Swipe through to see a video of the bees being collected into a nucleus. You can join the bee group who meet every Sunday at 12.30pm.

The campfire is all ready to go for tomorrow evening’s first Campfire Club at the garden (details on our blog - link in bio). Music from @alasdairroberts and @avocet_trio. Begins at 7pm. * * The garden will also be open on Sunday 1-4pm for our open workday. Come and help the team weed, tidy and build. You can also join the bee group who meet Sunday at 12.30pm. Just remember to come wearing trousers/have your legs covered. 🌈

We’re hiring - again! * * We’re looking for a Lead Food Grower (paid) and trainee food growers (volunteers) to resume our Thursday session. The application deadline is 10th May.
