Herb Tuesdays

Open every tuesday from 11am till 4pm.

Everyone welcome

Morning session 11 -1

Lunch 1-2

Afternoon session 2-4

Come all day or for the morning or afternoon. If you just want to meet us and find out more, why not come to lunch!

We particularly welcome anyone who is experiencing or who has experienced poor mental or physical health and would benefit from getting out and about, working with others, being outside in a beautiful setting and contributing to the creation of a community space.

We have lunch at 1pm, so join us and bring something to share if you want – we’ll make a healthy salad from the garden or a hot soup if its cold.

Herb Tuesdays is a gardening project aimed at improving our overall wellbeing, both mental and physical, through a wide range of activities including developing Glengall Wharf Garden, growing food and herbs from seed, maintaining our permaculture garden including the forest garden and hugel mounds.

We also take the time to find out about plants and their properties, how we can use them to benefit our own health and nutrition.

There will be opportunities to learn more about permaculture, and put ideas and techniques into practice, as well as regular taster sessions in subjects like wild food, medicinal plants, plant dyes and loads more depending on what volunteers want to learn.

Referrals – If you wish to refer someone to the project, please fill in the referral form and forward to herbtuesdays(at)gmail.com.
